Now Berlin is done, it is time to officially concentrate on the New York marathon which is only six weeks away. This is the first block of New York training.
After 19 weeks of training I enter the final 2 weeks of my Berlin training. Two weeks of tapering and resting up for Berlin.....
Having signed up for Ironman UK it is time to get some open water swimming experience. I have had 4 weeks of pool swimming which has seen my confidence and speed grow, now its time to take it outside!
After 17 weeks of training, these are my final two weeks of "proper" training before entering taper for weeks 20 & 21 then marathon time... it is getting close!
After deciding to run the Tatton 10k late on I was lucky enough to gain a place from my Instagram friend Caithy Walker, the race was an early one starting at 8:30am and it was cold!!! (for September)
After missing 3 weeks of training due in injury, it is time to get back at it and get marathon ready for Berlin, just 4 weeks to go until the big day, just how ready am I going to be for this after missing 3 weeks? Also stepping up my swim training now with the 2 mile Swim Serpentine event less than 3 weeks away now!!!
