The Mid-Cheshire 5k is my first 5k since I ran an 18:51 PB at ROCK n ROLL LIVERPOOL 5k in 2018 (not counting the Chicago 5k and Abbotts Dash to the Finish as they were shakeout runs for the marathons the following day. World marathon major number 5 and my 11th marathon distance run. Can I back up what I did in New York 4 months ago, could I run another PB.....

In the end, I thought it was best to give 100% and just run it like any other race. Holding back can often result in injuries.
My first proper race since the NYC marathon 4 months ago. Training has gone pretty well since, although all of that training has been endurance work in preparation for the Manchester & London marathon's in April. So the big question was, how is my half marathon pace looking? can I run close to my PB pace or have I lost some of that speed during the endurance training.
