My 2nd half marathon of the year and second time running this race. With just one week until the Berlin marathon I was in two minds about how to run this one, should I go for a PB or play it safe and run slow with Berlin in mind.

Having signed up for Ironman UK it is time to get some open water swimming experience. I have had 4 weeks of pool swimming which has seen my confidence and speed grow, now its time to take it outside!
After 17 weeks of training, these are my final two weeks of "proper" training before entering taper for weeks 20 & 21 then marathon time... it is getting close!
