Another week, another 10k and another PB. Running closer to home this week in the Alderley Edge 10k, the weather conditions were a little warmer and a little breezy but the course looked pretty flat.
So we move on to week 8 & 9 of the training plan. Where has that time gone! almost half way through to Berlin. After a mixed couple of weeks I am hoping to get back on track now and get this training done right.
My latest attempt at beating my 10k PB set back in February. This is a flat course, the weather was perfect, everything was set for a good race. Then I took a tumble on Thursday so how did things go during the race??
Now 7 weeks into my Berlin training plan, how are things going? these 2 weeks could not be more different. From the success of the Potters 'arf in week 6 to struggling with illness and motivation in week 7. This was the point in my Paris training where I got injured, will history repeat itself again now or have I learnt my lesson and not doing too much too soon?
Running my local half marathon was something I had thought about for many years but never felt fit enough. This was the year I was going to do it and I loved every second. Fantastic support all the way around, so many friends dotted around the course and a plate at the finish boom!
